MVP Development
& Technical Consulting
from Day One

Turn an idea into a product people actually use. Since 2010 we have shipped 100+ apps and learned what separates the ones people keep from the ones they delete. Product strategy, UX research, MVP development and go-to-market planning, from the engineers who will build it.

What We Do

From idea to launch.
01

MVP Development

Ship the smallest product that proves the idea.

We define the core feature set, build a working MVP for iOS, Android or the web, and put it in front of real users. Native or cross-platform, with a backend that can grow, so version two extends the MVP instead of replacing it. Built for startup app development and for new products inside established companies.

  • Feature prioritisation and scope definition
  • Native iOS and Android, Flutter or React Native
  • Backend, analytics and admin tools
  • App Store and Google Play release
02

Product Strategy & Roadmaps

Clear technical direction from day one.

Before writing code we help you decide what to build, in what order, and why. We turn business goals into a product roadmap with milestones, and make the architecture and technology choices that keep it realistic.

  • Product discovery workshops
  • Roadmap and release planning
  • Architecture and technology stack selection
  • Build vs buy and AI feasibility assessments
03

UX Research & Prototyping

Validate ideas before you pay to build them.

User interviews, competitor analysis and clickable prototypes to test assumptions with the people who will use the product. Changes are cheap at this stage and expensive later.

  • User interviews and usability testing
  • Competitor and market analysis
  • User flows and wireframes
  • Interactive prototypes
04

Go-to-Market Planning

Launch with a plan, not a hope.

Launch strategy for mobile and web products: store presence, onboarding, analytics and the metrics that tell you whether the product is working. We build and run our own product, MyPorter, so we plan launches from the founder's side too.

  • App Store Optimization (ASO) and store listings
  • Onboarding and activation flows
  • Analytics and KPI setup
  • Post-launch iteration planning

How We Work

Small steps, real feedback.
  1. 01 · Discover

Workshops to understand your users, market and constraints. We challenge assumptions early, when changing direction is cheap.

  2. 02 · Define

Scope, roadmap, architecture and a clear MVP feature set, with priorities agreed by everyone involved.

  3. 03 · Build

Short iterations with working builds you can test on your own device, so feedback shapes the product as it grows.

  4. 04 · Launch & Learn

Release to the stores or the web, measure real usage and plan the next iteration from data, not opinions.

Why APPSTYX

We build what we recommend.

Advice is easy when you never have to ship it. We have shipped 100+ apps since 2010, and we build what we recommend.

APPSTYX is a software house in Florence, Italy, founded by software architects and engineers. We have built native apps, web platforms and cloud backends for retailers, media companies, public institutions and enterprise teams. That is the experience we bring to technical consulting: realistic effort estimates, honest trade-offs and technology choices that will still make sense in three years.

Strategy and development come from the same team, so nothing gets lost between the plan and the code. Once the MVP is validated, we can take it all the way with full mobile app development and AI integration.

Questions

Straight answers.
What is an MVP?

A minimum viable product is the smallest version of your product that real users can use and that lets you test your core assumption. It is not a cut-down prototype: it is a working app or web platform, built on foundations that can grow, focused on the one problem that matters most.

How much does it cost to develop an MVP?

It depends on the platforms, the number of features, integrations and backend complexity. After a discovery session we define the scope together and send a detailed quote, so you know what you are paying for before development starts.

Should my MVP be native or cross-platform?

It depends on your users and your product. Cross-platform frameworks like Flutter and React Native let you reach iOS and Android with one codebase, while native Swift and Kotlin give the best performance and full access to platform features. We build with all of them, so we recommend what fits your case instead of what we happen to know.

Can you work with an existing team or codebase?

Yes. We can review an existing product, take over a codebase, or work alongside your in-house developers as technical advisors, from architecture reviews to hands-on development.

Do you sign an NDA?

Yes, we can sign an NDA before you share the details of your idea.

Do you only work with companies in Florence?

No. We are based in Sesto Fiorentino, Florence, and work with clients across Italy, Europe and worldwide. Workshops can run remotely or in person in Tuscany.
